Acknowledgment of Traditional Indigenous Territories
Journey to Diversity Workplaces acknowledges that, traditionally, Barrie, where our office is located, was a gathering place for many nations including the Anishinabeg and the Haudenosaunee peoples. J2DW acknowledges the area covered by Treaty 16, also known as the Lake Simcoe Purchase. J2DW also pays special recognition to the other lands or territory belonging to Indigenous people throughout Ontario and the traditional lands and territories where individuals who connect with J2DW may be contacting us from.
